Thanks for your answers. I found another book with the same name and author in my library, probably that's the reason.

Collection
Hello,
I love the plugin kobo. Maid bulk updates easy. Would it be possible to add feature for Collections ? Collection in Calibre won't update Collection in Kobo device. Thanks |

You can only do this while attached. Right click the Show books in Main Memory Icon: Configure This Device. Collections is the second tab |

The setting in calibre preferences you want to check is Sending books to devices. Make sure that Metadata management is set to Automatic management. |

I've found an interesting issue with Kobo Utilities. I has reading the tooltip for Modify CSS and it vansihed. I did it again and again it vanished. Why do tooltips have a timeout? They should not have a timeout.
I hope this is something that can be fixed. For a long tooltip such as that for Modify CSS, it is annoying. |

The timeout is not all that long. Then the tooltip vanishes. So you have to get it back and then find where you left off before it vanishes again. |

As annoying as the timeout for tooltips might be, it's even more annoying when they pop up and then get disassociated from the thing that put them there and then you can't get rid of this little tooltip box that is in front of everything and won't go away.
I agree the timeout is annoying. However, having a tooltip box that won't go away is even more annoying. |

Need help with plugin setup
Hi,
I have used KoboUtilities for years. As I just bought a new laptop, I have to do the entire setup again. As I try to recreate the columns for my categories, it simply won't let me chose the name (I used to have #koboreadloc, #koboreadpct, #koborating and #kobolastread). I type these in, save, and another name is actually chosen for the column. I'm then afraid it might mix things up. How can I fix this? Calibre version is 7.21 KoboUtilities is v2.17.2 Thanks |

Or, on the old computer, go to your old library and export the library/settings. On the new computer, import them. I'm pretty sure that'll move everything over.
