Calibre web site issue

This is an fyi obout a strange problem on ipad.
When choosing download for linux, the cmd line highlights as usual but there is no way to invoke the copy/paste popup.

Why does this matter? The predictable response will probably be: you can't install this on ipad so why would you want to copy the command.

Anser: I often administer the machine hosting the calibre-server using terminus on ipad. Without being able to copy the command, it's not available to paste into the terminal. I could probably try to force ipad into some kind of split screen so I could laboriously transcribe the command but I see no obvious reason why this particular web site should block the otherwise aoutomatic popup of the copy/paste options. it must have required extra effort to block what is ordinaliyt available so I'm prompted to ask: Why bother with added complexity that hinders use?

By the way, this problem is restricted to the first command. The one suggested if there is a certain problem allows the cop popup.

I get no popup on firefox using Linux and android. A click inside the box highlights the whole box on linus and using firefox for android a tap inside the box highlights the whole box and bring up the "copy search paste share" popup.

Yes, on ios in safari and FF, the secong cmd give the popup but not the first

It will be a safari bug, it probably gets confused by the scrollbars. Have removed the scrollbars and also moved the click to copy functionality to use the web clipboard API which means on mobile browsers it should show a popup when you tap/click on it allowing you to copy or share with another app.

Probably more like a WebKit bug that a Safari bug, but the result is the same.
