Editing ebook authors

Greetings all! I had a quick question. How do you edit an ebook's author field? I have ebooks that display the author last name first name and others first name last name. This kind of makes the books by author function on my 505 useless. Any help would be appreciated!

i use calibre for that, not sure how you would do it any other way sorry

how about right click -> show properties? can you not edit it there?
