Wirt Gerrare was the pseudonym of UK weapons expert, journalist, and author William Oliver Greener (1862-1935). In addition to non-fiction about guns and Russian history, he wrote Rufin’s Legacy: A Theosophical Romance (1892), and the science fiction novel The Warstock: A Tale of To-Morrow (1898).
