Questions about external memory
so look like every time I pop out a memory card I will lost the "last read" data of book stored on that card. For example if I am on page 30 or Book A, after I pop out and reinsert the card I am back to page 1.
Is it the correct behavior or did I mess something up. BTW I am using calibre S/W save to disk function to transfer over the book. |

No. I don't lose "last read" page when I pop out SD memory card. Normally I press "menu" button to go back to root menu before ejecting memory card. Never try ejecting card in the "book opening" scenario.
BTW, why not press bookmark button before you pop out memory card? |

I'd expect that the 'last read' info's going to be held on the SD card and it'd probably only be updated when you leave the book to go to the menu, rather than having the device write to the card each time you change a page.
Given that, I'd second allon_pan's suggestion of going to the root menu before ejecting the card. |

Try bookmarking the page before ejecting. The bookmark should be maintained.
