[Old thread] ePub Viewer

I just upgraded to calibre 0.7.34. The ePub viewer now scrolls horizontally. I assume this ia a feature but have not found a way to revert to vertical scrolling. Is there a switch somewhere?

From the changelog:

# Page turn animations in the e-book viewer

"Now when you use the Page Down/Page Up keys or the next/previous page buttons in the viewer, page turning will be animated. The duration of the animation can be controlled in the viewer preferences. Setting it to 0 disables the animation completely."

Kovid, there appears to be a bug in the duration control. It allows you to set values in 0.1 increments, but if you leave it at 0.1 the animation will play until the next time you go into the options. Then it will switch to "disabled", and if you try to increase the value by pressing the up arrow it will go straight to 0.2.

Appreciate this program hugely.

Just upgraded to 8.0.0 and would like use vertical scrolling with mobi files.

I did read your instructions above for epub files:
From the changelog:

But I need some guidance here

Where do I find "changelog"...., and what command enables the scrolling change?
