Could "Modified Reader by morkl" cause dictionary problems?
Since trying "Modified Reader by morkl" and removing it, my dictionary locks up. It acts like a memory leak. It works ok for a few times after a reset, and then it takes a long time between selection and the definition appearing. Sometimes the definition is gibberish. Reset and power cycle restore it to normal for a few definitions. I've also experienced this delay/lockup when opening the dictionary from home page, so I don't think it is a problem with a book.
I've tried restores, sd restores, factory resets, flashing to newest firmware. Any of these will fix it for a few times just like resetting it. In my search for an answer, I've seen that there are other users who are getting the same problem. Is there any way to overwrite the whole firmware to the original image? |
