Is the 900 screen a little better than the 600?

I have seen some reviews that claim with reading on the 900 has been improved a little over the 600. I know the 600 is 8 grey scale so the photos on the 900 would be better. But is reading text on the 900 any sharper or clearer than the 600?

I have one anedoctal point. Side-by-side with coworker's 600, my 900 is noticeably sharper (same font, same size). Not hugely but both of us agreed it was easy to tell. That seems to match what I read elsewhere.

She's not selling her 600, if that helps!

I've owned both and the 900 has a better screen. I kept the 900 and returned the 600.

What do you think makes the screen better...the 16 scale over the 8? Are the fonts just a little darker so it is easier to read?

I owned both the 600 and 900 for a short time and laid them side by side under various lighting. The 900 is noticeably clearer and sharper rather than darker text. A reading experience midway between the 505 and 600 in my opinion. I think it has more to do with the clarity of the touch screen material than the 16 level gray scale.
