Kobo Wifi with SD Card Reader
I have a 4Gb memory card for my eReader, it took 6 hours approx. to transfer 1.2Gb of ePub books to this eReader. Is this normal ? Can this process be made faster ? Thanks.
Also, when this is done, the battery drains by 35% almost. I can only wonder how long it will take if a 32G card filled with ebooks is added to the Kobo. Appears that the processor isn't fast enough for the job. |

The length of time is probably dependent on the complexity of the book. A member of this forum mentioned that it took about 45 minutes to process about 3,000 books on his SD card whereas I had 1 book that took over 15 minutes to process. Kobo has to create a table of contents for each book and this particular book ended up with a table of contents of over 92 pages in length so I believe that accounted for the long process time.
