Tidal will be completely free for 12 days starting on Christmas

I hope that I am posting this on the correct thread--it's been so long since I've seen such a post. Maybe it's just because there is an epidemic of music-subscription-trial-offer-posting fatigue . . . .

Google Play's got some pretty good tracks, from some good to great artists, for only 69 cents each right now. I like the old stuff, and found some must-buys from Foreigner, Tracy Chapman, Chicago, Otis Redding, and one or two others.

If you see the name of a group or artist that you like, but either already have the song or don't like the particular song shown, click on the thumbnail anyway. The songs come from albums, and there are almost always additional tracks on the albums for 69 cents also.

It appears that Google Play has thrown down the gauntlet to other music subscription services, with their (Google's) current trial music subscription offer.

Google Play is promoting the best such trial offer that I have ever seen (but, admittedly, I don't actively follow such things). It's _four_ months _free_. After that, it's only _$9.99_ per month for individuals.

To learn more about it, navigate to play.google.com. Advance the banner ad near the top of the page, to the banner ad with the offer. You'll know what to do next. :-)
