I am so sorry to hear about this. Hopefully the Police can figure it out and bring the guilty party to justice.

Sunshine came softly through my a-window today
Could've tripped out easy a-but I've a-changed my ways It'll take time, I know it but in a while You're gonna be mine, I know it, we'll do it in style 'Cause I made my mind up you're going to be mine ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NCQ0LmZkSjQ ) Good morning, everyone. Sun's up and so am I. Wide awake and ready... Keemun tea, rice and kimchee, and my camera bag... I love Autumn! I'm heading back to the same general area I found Monday, and I figure it will be even more beautiful! Hmmmmm.... That's got me wondering..... if a rose is beautiful, can it be more beautiful? Or is 'beautiful' the ultimate? Oh well... pretty is pretty good! And this mountain side of Kyoto is beautiful! Stitchawl |

It's easy to take good pictures when you have subjects like these. For some reason, when I arrived there the area was almost deserted. Very rare for Kyoto in Foliage season. Within two hours there were half a dozen tour buses pulling in every few minutes and huge tour groups complete with megaphone-toting leaders tromping all over the place. I was lucky to be able to spend 30 minutes meditating in 'this' garden, having it all to myself. First time to have such solitude in a setting like this in 20 years... Normally you can't even find a place to sit down!

Nice photos Stitchawl. I love how it looks so clean with the raked sand. Is there a ritual for the sand?
water in my cup and waiting for dinner. |
