device: not send to author folder
My reader is an android tablet. All works as it should except that when sending books to device it will not recognize the 'author sort' function and always dumps the books in the main memory.
There seem to be various commands from various sources but I've tried them all with no success: are they all wrong? This one is from the 'android driver' plugin when there is no device attached: {author_sort}/{title} - {authors} This one from the 'configure' page with the device plugged in: {title} - {authors} and this from the manual under 'calibre template language: {author_sort}/{title}/{title} - {authors} If I start from scratch, what is the correct configuration to send to the right author file on the device?? And does that automatically create a new author folder for a new author? |

IMHO configure when attached using the configur device option on the Icon
![]() Preferences sets defaults. Once a device is connected, that configuration will be saved in the configuration folder for use when THAT PARTICULAR device is reconnected |

{title} - {authors} Does this need changing and if so to what? I want the epub to be sent to the correct author folder (under 'Books' as per now) and if possible a new folder to be creatred if necessary.... |

The basic template language is rather simple (there are advanced ones that are not as easy to understand) /{author_sort}/{title} the slash is a folder level |
