Not particularly. Many of my non-graphic novel/non-reference/non-foreign-language/non-artbooks are still non-fiction, out-of-print in paper, and not likely to be available in e- (and would probably wind up with rather bad conversions in the bargain, as they tend to have figures and illustrations and whatnot).
If a dirt-cheap version of a paper book I already own and moderately enjoy comes up, then I'll probably get it as a supplement, but otherwise I've no particular need or desire to go from paper to e-. |

You need an option for: I have so many books I could never afford to convert them all.

I voted no. In general, I don't re-read. If I was to re-read something I would either use the library or buy the ebook.

Mostly no. I have a few books that I've reread that I've gotten ebooks for (i.e. J.R.R. Tolkien), but the majority of what I still have on hand in paper tend to either out of print/unlikely to ever be ebooks/cookbooks that don't lend themselves to ebook format.

If you mean scanning than no, I have downloaded public Domain books to replace books that I have bought.

I have converted a few for personal use. Mostly I'm unwilling to put the effort in unless I can share the result.

There wasn't a perfect option for me, so I went with "I'm on a horse". It's patently a lie, since I'm in my living room on the second floor and probably couldn't even get a horse up the stairs, but it seemed appropriate nonetheless.

I'm not going to bother converting most of my fiction, but I've got a reasonably-sized occult-and-religious-books library, most of which are unavailable as ebooks. I'm gradually converting them. Process is slooooow, because I can't send them off to scanning services--I don't want the originals destroyed.
One of this year's big projects is to get myself a DIYScanner arrangement with digital cameras so I can start converting my artsy-hippie books that won't OCR worth a damn. |

As I said on another thread, I really have no idea why I would ever want to do this. So I chose the horrified option, but it's really more like baffled.
