Validation Problem

I use Calibre to reconvert my epubs to put in my @font statements in, put in a jacket and change to font sizes.

In the older versions when calibre put the @font statements in all the html files the books validated with flightcrew no problem.

In the newer version I'm getting a "Resorce is reachable..." error for all fonts mentioned. I've checked the manifest and the page_style.css is there. How do I correct this so that my books validate?

I just tried running flightcrew on a calibre produced epub with embedded fonts and there were no validation errors. You need to give us a test case.

The fonts aren't embedded. The line is for instance:
@font-face {
font-family: serif;
font-weight: normal;
font-style: normal;
src: url(res:///ebook/fonts/../../mnt/extsd/fonts/DejaVuSerif.ttf)
The path is to the fonts folder on my T1

Then it obviously will not validate since it refers to a resource that the validator cannot find. The fact that is validated previously is a bug in flightcrew.

It just seemed strange to me that the same line validated before.

I'll live with it since the books work on my Sony.

Was the device connected when you did the validate?
