The 7" plus and the SGP4"/5" do not have AMOLED screens.
It's the 7.7" tab that has the AMOLED screen, so does the Toshiba 7" Excite. The Samsung Galaxy S II has a super AMOLED plus screen(true RGB). It would be a step backwards for Samsung to put a pentile screen on the S III. |

So far all the leaks I have seen screams for fake. Even this Vietnamese who posted the video. It screams for fake because Samsung's teased release picture looks different and colors used in the posted are white and blue but all leaks so far spotted as black.
So it looks like Samsung does great job to hide their flagship smartphone and will see if they will manage to hide it till May 3rd. |

And some more info here.
It's a quad-core, with 20% better efficiency than the CPU on the SII. Quote:

That Galaxy S III seems nice. But nice enough to upgrade my Dell Streak from 2 years ago? Nah. Wake me up when some real change comes along.

big new processor. http://news.cnet.com/8301-1001_3-574...TopHeadlines.0
"The Exynos 4 Quad integrates four processor cores and is built on the company's cutting-edge 32-nanometer manufacturing process. The chip will run at speeds above 1.4GHz, the company said in a statement today. As a yardstick, the third-generation iPad uses older 45-nanometer Samsung manufacturing tech and its central processing unit is dual-core (though the graphics processing unit is quad-core). And most multi-core smartphones and tablets on the market today are dual-core." "Samsung's statement continued. "The...processor is a crucial element in providing our customers with a PC-like experience on mobile devices." |

My current phone (Epic/GalaxyS) is only a single core and I wouldn't call battery life great. Will the 32 nm chips use less power? |

(1) uses 32nm process as opposed to 45nm (2) cores are dynamically turned on and off as required For comparison purposes, the Tegra III is more power efficient than the Tegra II, and the same will apply to the Samsung chips. |
