A friend was up there, on a camping trip. He did pack up the tent & go to a hotel for last night's storm.

The temperature never climbed out of the 50s (F), it was heavily overcast, and the winds were gusting up to 50 mph. Pretty typical for an autumn day. Unfortunately, the leaves haven't quite hit their peak of color around here yet, and a lot of them came down this afternoon.

Sunny here at the moment, but with a biting wind and a serious drop in temperature from the past few days.

Snow earlier today. At least 4 inches. Plus the ground was already damp and so we likely have ice under the snow. Not fun.

Just had a dramatic storm pass through. There was a tornado watch that included the southern half of our county, but we still had freight train winds, sheets of rain, and a power failure. It lasted about half an hour.
Now, it's just rainy and breezy. |

Apparently we had some strong storms last night. There were a few roads closed on the way to the doctor, and internet and cable are out. At least the electric didn't go out. There are a lot of trees where I'm at and above ground utilities.
But since I'm in the hospital again it doesn't matter much to me. Sent from my LG-US998 using Tapatalk |

Dark, grey and very wet.
Some time later today it should start clearing up (weather websites don't agree when exactly). At least today's consulting hour will probably be quiet, a nice change from the last couple of weeks. |

We had hazy sunshine with temperatures in the 40s (F) and some good breezes. I managed to get some time on the deck.
Tomorrow we're due for sleet, freezing rain and snow, with more snow due on Monday. |

Sydney's been cloaked with a blanket of smoke for almost 3 weeks.
Some Bunnings' stores (Home Depot equiv) have run out of P2 industrial dust masks, anything less is useless. |

The high temperature for the day was just above freezing and it was breezy, but the sky was mostly sunny. After some running around I was able to get a little time on the deck.
Tomorrow and Saturday are supposed to be miserably cold and rainy, and then we should see-saw back and forth. |
