Export Metadata

I'd like to export the metadata only from my library. Then view and edit it in a spreadsheet and OpenRefine. Then once complete and accurate import it.

I see a db file in the library. Can I just work with that? Or would making changes there break the file? Is there a way to export the metadata? Perhaps a plugin I'm overlooking?

Thanks

There is an easier way.

Right click on the "Convert books" icon and then select "Create catalogue of books".
Note that it creates a catalogue of the currently displayed books in the library, so either filter what you want or show all books.

You can add Create Catalog to any menu or toolbar, or give it a keyboard shortcut, or add it to the Favourites Menu.

To update the metadata from the edited CSV you'll need to use the Import List plugin - last time I tried that I had limited success.
