PyQt QWebView & calibre WebView
I've been using a standard PyQt QWebView widget for a very long time in one of my main personal plugins.
I thought maybe I ought to be using calibre's bespoke WebView instead but its built-in QWebInspector is just in the way for my purposes. Can I switch it off or hide it permanently or should I just stick to using QWebView which currently does everything I need? The reason I'm asking this is that I have a vague memory of someone saying that PyQt's QWebView might be disappearing in the near-ish future? |

calibre's WebView is based on QWebView so if th elatter disappears, the former will as well. So need need ot change aanything for the moment.
calibre 4 will include QWebEngine which is the replacement for QWebView, once that is released you can consider migrating to it if you like. |

Am I able to experiment with any QWebEngine widgets using calibre 3.38 or are they only accessible in calibre 4, specifically QWebEngineView?
