Augen Released 6 Tablets from $200 to $600

Augen has prepared a massive performance on the tablet PC market and has released 6 new models at once. All of them are operated by Android 2.2. and one of the tablets has an additional OS, Ubuntu.
The cheapest new arrival is GENTOUCH Latte. It costs just $200 and you’ll get a 7’’ resistive touch display tablet with a 800x480 resolution, a 2GB embedded flash memory, an SD-card slot, an accelerometer, a Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n network adapter and an HDMI output...

After branding their first reader "TheBook" now they're trying it with names for coffee, which are not really too attractive. The dual Ubuntu/Android tablet is interesting though.

After Augen dropped all support of the GenTouch78 (I bought it knowing it was a piece of crap), I'm not really inclined to give them a second chance. The Espresso 7" tablets sound nice at half the price of a Galaxy Tab, but I don't trust Augen anymore.

Augen is the blue light special of digital products. (yes, they're carried in Kmarts, but that wasn't the idea of the pun) They've consistently gotten low ratings and are built very cheaply. I'd avoid them like the plague.
