Jetbook Lite at Newegg for $117 with free shipping

Hello, I am new to MR! Got the eBookwise last year (as an experiment) and been looking for a better quality screen and a good deal for another reader; and now Newegg has just what I need -- just ordered 2 of these with 2x2GB SD cards and eagerly await delivery.

This deal is a shell shocker and only good until 1:00pm PST today or when they run out of stock, whichever is earlier.

Love the replaceable AA batteries and I have a stack of rechargeables and charger anyway for other devices. Anybody looking to pick up an inexpensive reader for the holidays can have a look at this!

Had to give the ol' mom a call concerning Santa Claus. Hopefully looking for a ~1lb brightly wrapped box with a bow on top in a few days! Been browsing here for a long while, joined 2007, and have finally been able to really enter the community. 4th year of undergrad at the moment, could have come sooner, but now is a great time too.

I also bought two of the Jetbook Lites. One for me and one for a gift. I've been lurking around this forum trying to decide which reader to get. I had narrowed it down to the Jetbook or the Lite. The Newegg sale price of the Lite plus the ability to use the B&N ebook store finally were just too good to pass up. I already have a bunch of rechargeable AA cells so I'm ready to go.

I did have a question about a case. Has anyone who owns a lite discovered a proper case for the Jetbook Lite? I've seen the silicone covers for the Jetbook but am not sure that they will fit the Lite because of the battery bulge. Any suggestions would be appreciated

Just ordered one for my wife, she saw mine last night, and wanted one of her own. Now I just need to get some decent rechargeable batteries for it and I'm set (wait, if it uses aaa's, then I'm good already :P).

The price for the Jetbook Lite has dropped down again on the Newegg site, this time to 129.99 from 149.99. It's some kind of sale price so it's hard to tell how long it will hold. I thought I'd pass this on in case anyone who missed the 117.99 price was still interested in getting a Jetbook Lite at discount price.
