How to make an epub out of image files?
I have an illustrated book in svg format (one file per page). What would be the easiest way to convert them to an epub? I've been trying to with Calibre and Sigil, but I've only been able to find a way to add them one by one which won't really be feasible considering it's over 100 pages long.

If each is a SVG wrapped in (x)HTML, Calibre has a way: create a Index.html

In Sigil you can use the "Add Existing Files" command (the big plus). You can multi-select the files you want to add and it will add them all in a batch. I would make sure they are named appropriately before you add them so they stay in the correct order. Even if they are added out of order you can drag and drop within the Book Browser on the left to put them back in order.

Can't you do bulk convert into epubs and use the merge-epub plugin afterwards?

1. In Sigil, you could add all the SVGs to the EPUB: File > Add > Existing Files 2. Then inside the XHTML file, you should be able to: Insert > File You can easily highlight all the SVGs (Shift-Click) just like you would in Explorer. 3. Once you add them to your EPUB, you would get code smushed together like this: Quote:
or just use Search/Replace to insert the Sigil split marker: Search: "/><img Replace: "/><hr class="sigil_split_marker" /><img and press Edit > Split At Markers (F6). 4. Now you would have each SVG in its own file: Quote:
