Plugboard for Pub Date needed
I sort my kindle by collections and within collections by author.
I am using this plug to change my titles format: mobi device: kindle2 template: {series:|| }{series_index:0>2s|[|] - }{title} destination: title Within each author the single titles and the series are often out of order. I would like to change the date of any book in a series to be something like (Jan 1, 1800) + (series_number) + (100* a number assigned to each series within an author if they have more than one). That should keep all the series in order and separated from other series and single titles. Any idea how to write the template? |

Pubdate isn't a supported output field for plugboards.

I'm sorry to hear that. I was hoping I would not need to edit each book manually. Oh, well. Why, oh why are the books sorted by pubdate and not title when sorted by collections/author I have no idea.
