how to import calibre library from folder
it's going to be a bit long so bear with me.
i had my Calibre library on PC A, got hit with a virus (took way to much time to fix) and after that i exported the library from PC A and imported it to PC B as a single export file.
now PC B decided to die, PC A isn't updated as PC B.
the library was in a GOOGLE DRIVE folder so i can access from PC C, but how do i import it correctly without killing anything?

as a side note, can anyone tell me if there is a problem using GDrive as the library folder

As for the rest - try creating an empty library and using the add books one book per directory option (2nd option in Add Books drop down) using the old library as input.

i didn't have a problem with data loss...
i stored my library on the pc then moved to Gdrive, i export the epubs to dropbox that i sync to all my mobile devices and read with moon+ and it syncs the reading progress.

right now it's just the issue of restoring the library from the library folder i have on gdrive
