Hello, I'm going to have a Kindle2
Until two years ago I lived in the State.
But now I moved in Tokyo, Japan.
I want to use Kindle2.
I know there a lot of problems to buy and use the device in Asia.
My credit card issued in the State was already expired.
(I have one issued in Japan)
So it may be difficult to buy ebooks via Amazon.com.
My friend is going to send it as a gift. But how can I download ebooks.
Could you anyone give me an advice?

I'm sorry I didn't introduce myself. Actually I had tried but eveytime I couldn't. So, as a reply for you, I do now.
I'm already too old to do something new. Possibly you can understand what I was from "computational alchemist".
Once I was a researcher and those days my research area was "Quantum Chemistry."
Now I almost retired. The only thing I love is read books. That's all.

Welcome to MobileRead, Tom, and have you thought about another ebook device? Don't let the slick advertising blind you to other great ebook readers.

It would be far easier on you to stick with one that is easily available and has books available to download without going thru hoops.
