Baum, L. Frank: The Complete Wizard of Oz Series (Volume One). Oct 28 2007
I love the Wizard of Oz series. No one needs a synopsis or explanation of what these books are about. Think "Theres no place like home..." While clicking your ruby slippers together and you got it.
Those terrifying flying Monkeys..... Baum wrote The Wizard when he was 44 after taking a shot at everything from Chicken farmer to Newspaperman. He wrote 14 Oz books and even named his estate in California "Ozcot" My first attempt at an Oz Collection was too long and my reader got real fussy with it so I asked Harry to delete it. This collection works fine and has 7 books. 1900 The Wonderful Wizard of Oz 1904 The Marvelous Land of Oz 1907 Ozma of Oz 1908 Dorothy and the Wizard in Oz 1909 The Road to Oz 1910 The Emerald City of Oz 1913 The Patchwork Girl of Oz 1914 Little Wizard Stories of Oz I'm working on (Volume two) 7 more.... and should have it out in a few minutes.. Enjoy. Roy This work is assumed to be in the Life+70 public domain OR the copyright holder has given specific permission for distribution. Thanks again Roy!
My great uncle gave me really old copies of the whole set, which I loved as a child but am nervous about reading now. So, it's great to have electronic versions! |

Irish. Those old copies may be pretty valuable now. You should check it out.
You might have a gold mine there... |

Wolf. No they aren't. I had a more difficult time finding illustrations for these online than I thought so I finally just put in the book jacket cover art on each book, and called it good.
