Thanks for fast reply!
The first time i install Calibre i tried to make a new folder i called "my e-books" on my desktop. When I deleted Calibre and installed it again "My documents" was highlighted so I tought that was a default folder for my e-books. But I later tried the folder witch Calibre made, Calibre-library. But that wont work either. Sorry for my poor english and bad translations, but I run a Norwegian OS. -Lars |

Try creating a folder in a location with no special characters in the path. calibre sometimes has troubles when the path to the library has non english characters in it (it seems t depend on your windows version and codepage). So use something like
c:\my library |

Install will not allow me to assign a Library location no matter where I put it or how simple I make the path. I get the same process and error messages as Lars did, then it just closes. Tried running as administrator, closing anti-virus, and bypassing firewall. Running fully updated Vista. Any help is greatly appreciated............... |
