Need help with kindstrip
Hello,
I found these instructions below from these forums to install and use kindlestrip. Download and install 32-bit (x86) ActivePython from here. Download the kindlestrip 1.2.zip file. Unzip to give kindlestrip.py Copy the book you want stripped to the same directory as kindlestrip. Open a command window use the cd command to switch to the same directory as kindlestrip type python kindlestrip.py [BOOKNAME] where [BOOKNAME] is the name of the ebook to be stripped. When I enter type python kindlestrip.py [BOOKNAME] I put it like this: python kindlestrip.py book.mobi I get this in the command prompt Usage: kindlestrip_v133.py <infile> <outfile> <strippeddatafile> <strippeddatafile> is optional. I tried entering that but I don't know if I am doing it right because nothing happened, I am not sure how exactly to enter it correctly. I did try to enter it with python kindlestrip_v133.py <bookname> but it said <unexpeted at this time. I did create the mobi file using the kindle comic creator. Any help would be appreciated. |

You'll have to use: kindlestrip.py mycomic.mobi new.mobi (mew.mobi is the name of the stripped version.)
If you can't get it to work, you can also use Calibre with the KindleUnpack plugin, which is based on the same code. |
