Blood of the Wicked by Karina Cooper is the 1st in her A Dark Mission series of witch-hunting adventures which appear to be on that fuzzy borderline between paranormal romance and urban fantasy (seem to have recurring characters and an overarching series action plot line, from what I can tell by skimming the blurbs), free courtesy of All Romance eBooks and publisher Harper Collins as their Xmas Countdown giveaway selection for the 14th.

This has a medium rating of 3 flames on the ARE heat index, and the series appears to be primarily f/m and contain no particular warnings (except for supernatural/horror content).

Currently free in DRM-free PDF @ All Romance eBooks until shortly before midnight CST on December 15th. If you happened to miss the previous day's selection, the mixed f/m and f/f (separate couples) linked mini-story collection of erotic romances set at a cowboy bowling tournament, you can probably still catch it if you hurry: The Perfect Score

If you happen to like her writing, it looks like more in this series by author Cooper are currently discounted to 99 cents by HarperCollins. For people like me who dislike PDFs and don't mind paying a wee bit to get an ereader-friendly file... you can also get this book on Amazon , B&N, and Kobo for only 0.99 cents at the moment. Not sure how long that will last.

I'm not at home to look it up, but the first in her latest series is also 99 cents at AMazon, I believe....

The book koland is referring to is Tarnished, which is also 69 cents at Books On Board. 99 cents at other retailers.
