Für mich ist das ungewöhnlich - hatte vor 3 Wochen Mittwoch Abend bestellt. Freitag früh gegen 9:30 ist er angekommen.

Hi,

so ungewöhnlich ist das nicht. Mein Kindle hat auch erst eine 3-Tage-Rundreise in den USA gemacht, bevor er über den Teich ging.

Erst, wenn in den Tranckinginfos etwas von "EXPORTSCAN" (auf der Homepage von UPS) steht, geht der Reader über den großen Teich. Und wenn dann der "IMPORTSCAN" in der Liste auftaucht ist er in Deutschland angekommen.
In der Trackinginfo bei amazon.com steht dann "Arrived at destination country". Dann erst steht die Lieferung kurz bevor!

Die beiden Trackinginformationen unterscheiden sich etwas. Mal war amazon schneller, mal UPS. Daher lieber beide beobachten, dann ist man auf dem aktuellsten Stand,

Wobei bei mir der Zoll vor der Ankunft in Deutschland erledigt war. Dabei sind aber auch mehrere "Completed customs clearance process" in der Liste aufgetaucht.

Laut Scan Ereignissen ist Dein Kindle noch nicht in Deutschland gelandet, nur die Zoll Papiere werden derzeit in Deutschland bearbeitet aber das Paket hat den USA nocht nicht verlassen. Es ist in der Tat ein Problem aufgetreten, UPS unbedingt anrufen.

Danke für die Antworten. Amazon sagt, die Lieferung kann noch eine Woche dauern. Heute kam die Meldung auf der UPS-Webseite "unterwegs". Bleibt nur zu hoffen, dass der Kindle in Deutschland unterwegs ist.

Ich habe gerade mit UPS telefoniert. Mein Kindle liegt noch in den Staaten und ist von Amazon noch nicht verschickt worden. Also noch eine Mail an Amazon geschrieben....

Dilemma
"OK, mein Kindle ist tatsächlich nicht verschickt worden.

Amazon hat mir folgende Möglichkeit angeboten:

"I'd like to help, but I'm not sure if you'd like a refund or a refurbished Kindle replacement and receive an additional $20 credit since you are not receiving new unit."

Was mache ich nun? Auf ein neues Gerät warten? (Geduld war nie meine Stärke) oder das Angebot mit dem refurbished Gerät und Preisnachlass annehmen? "

Problem inzwischen gelöst.....

Ich habe das Gerät mit 20USD Nachlass genommen. Ja, ich bin schwach.... Ich werde berichten, wie die Qualität ist.

Ich hatte schon überlegt, ob ich mein Kindle aus Großbritannien oder den Staaten über Borderlinx bestelle. Meine IT-Schüler haben mir den Tipp gegeben.

Also bei mir kam keine Abfrage und ich habe sicherlich keinen US Proxy genutzt oder so.

Das Einzige was sein kann ich habe eine xbeliebige über google maps ausgesuchte US Adresse hinterlegt bei Amazon.com, als Rechnungsadresse für US only Titel die ich aber logischerweise nicht als Lieferadresse angegeben habe.

Ob es daran liegt oder ob die einfach inzwischen die "Lücke" geschlossen haben weiß ich nicht.
