47 and sunny at 6:25 pm. It got up to 51-52 this afternoon. Our heat went off earlier (when it was about 50), so I asked my super why. It should be on until it gets to 55. Didn't come back on until it was in the 40s again. He is so annoyed with me, but hey, someone has to tell him.

Although it's currently dry, the rain can start again at any time now and the prediction is that it'll keep raining until some time tomorrow night. The temperatures are average at 11-12C and it's going be windy, like the last two weeks.
But it looks like from Sunday it's finally going to dry up, not just one or two days but at least a week. It won't be very sunny yet, but the temperatures are also slowly going up. It looks like spring has finally arrived. |

52 now (10:30pm) and getting warmer overnight with rain. It was sunny during the afternoon and stayed in the 40s. At about 8pm I asked my super why we had no heat for hours when it was 48 degrees outside. He didn't answer my text. It may get up to 60 on Saturday with lots of rain and some thunderstorms. My knees and back are hurting a lot!

5° and raining. Could be worse since some spots in the BC interior are expecting up to 25cm of snow.

Yesterday there was less rain than predicted, though it still drizzled most of the day.
Today is, again, a rainy day. Mostly drizzle, but around 4pm it'll rain harder. Temperatures of 10-11C are average. Though it will be just above freezing during the night, so colder than normal. From tomorrow we're getting dryer and sunnier weather. But at first it'll be colder than normal but towards the end of next week it'll start to get warmer. |

We started the day with rain and wind -- both moderate.
The afternoon was beautiful! It was sunny and breezy and the temperature reached 71°F. It was a very nice preview of spring. Right around sunset a strong line of storms moved in from the west. We had heavy rain and high winds, with a tornado warning for the area. Fortunately, while some nearby areas had wind damage it doesn't look like there were any actual tornadoes. Tomorrow should be a very sunny day, but a bit cooler with temperatures only reaching about 50°F. |

The forecasters were wrong about Saturday afternoon. It was not rainy. It was sunny and did get up to 69. Of course by the time I went out to go food shopping, it clouded up and the storms started while I was in the store. Had to walk home in the rain w/o umbrella. Cane in one hand and wheeled bag on the other hand.
48 degrees and clear at 3:30 AM. |
