Email problems

Hi
trying to set up email from calibre to kindle on imac.
Kindle email addfress is correct and so is gmail.
error message =
calibre, version 0.7.45
ERROR: Failed to email book: <b>Failed</b>: Email First and Only to katrob@kindle.com

Email First and Only to katrob@kindle.com

Sending failed...

Any idea what I am doing wrong.

Is there a firewall somewhere blocking Calibre from connecting to the SMTP server?

I stopped fire wall and made sure gmail settings correct.
now all I get is a spinning wheel?

Tested email in Calibre and it was successful, but will not email book?

To get around a spam prevention device calibre has a 5 minute wait between each ebook it sends. This most likely accounted for some of the delays you experienced.
