FIFA World Cup 2010
Anyone interested in the World Cup starting in South Africa now on Friday the 11th June. Here's a nice overview of the different groups, teams and when they play (requires flash):

Gooaaaaallllllll!!!!!!
I will be supporting England, Spain, Korean Republic and Japan this year. Can't wait!! Watch the competition with my father, my nephews, cousins and uncles. I'm in the pub for the first England match vs the USA next Saturday. Then when it's over I'll forget all about football for another four years |

Will England take it home this year? Neither Norway or Sweden qualified only Denmark. I will be cheering for England.

We don't stand a chance and we always know we don't stand a chance, even though we'll tell you we do. I think Spain will probably walk away with the cup, they're the best team in the competition, although I do wish an African team would win the competition, that would be a nice change of pace.

Brazil, Spain and England are the easy pickings for winner. However, Argentina can't be discarded since they're bringing the best forward line a coach has ever had at his disposal. The European Golden and Silver Boots (Messi and Higuain), the MVP of the last Champion's League final (Milito) plus top-level strikers Tevez and Agüero. Even a junkie like Maradona should be really able to bring Argentina forward.

Portugal (surely MR's adopted team) could do well, they come out of the same group as Brazil - so would avoid meeting them again unless they both got to the final. Whoever wins, if it's not England, I hope it's the team playing the most attractive football. |

As an English bloke living in Denmark loyalties are divided - so I'll go for Brazil!
One odd thing about the site is that the teams are arranged alphabetically - except Germany, which comes first on the list?? |

I need to keep up with this if I want to bond with my co-workers. They have started a betting pool, so now I have to fill this incredibly complicated Excel sheet and give 2 euros I'll check that link when I'm back home, maybe it will help.
I understand the French team is in pretty bad shape, so the hopes are not high on that front. |
