Where did you find a link for the PW6 firmware? I don't see any links for either the Paperwhite 12th gen or the Colorsoft devices on Amazon's site.

Some people on Reddit are saying the Scribe update (5.17.1.0.1) has fixed the issue with custom fonts not 'sticking'. I never had the issue, so cannot confirm this.
However, when I installed it on one of my Scribes, it replaced the custom font I was using in one of my Themes with Bookerly. (this after announcing a 'new' font: Bookerly! want to try it? A: not now) I had to edit the theme to restore the custom font. In Settings/Device options, 'Whispersync for Books and Notebooks' is now just 'Sync'. And I ran into issue downloading a new print replica document: it showed in download filter but without downloaded checkmark and would not open. Restart fixed it. MountSus jailbreak exploit was successfully tested on firmware 5.16.3 up to 5.16.20? IIRC, by dozens of "beta testers" at Discord community server run by @HackerDude. And since that fact was mentioned to you specifically in couple of different MobileRead threads where you kept claiming that most probably or even definitely there will never be a new jailbreak for fw 5.16.3+ you don't get to now hang on to "I was talking about fw 5.17.1" excuse. Now that someone else conveniately stated that there are some issues needed checking with newest Kindle models and and issues with the hotfix package running on firmware 5.17+. You've been doing the same dance since 5.16.3 was released. It is obviously to all that your posting in Kindle section of MobileRead is malicious and 99 out of 100 times intentionally misleading. You were corrected and informed about relevant informational multiple times but you still keep on writing that new jailbreak probability is next to zero. It really is a mystery how you weren't banned from here years ago for your "contributions" to MobileRead community. Other than modification of Charlie SIL font I can't remember single useful thing you've done or a comment you made here in all my 14 years of being a member of MobileRead. Your excuse is invalid
And unlike you I tend not to state stuff as facts and absolute truth when I don't have concrete knowledge about if something 100% works of doesn't work in some specific case of specific software build. To my knowledge beta testing was done before 5.17. was released. Further testing is currently being done by the jailbreak author @HackerDude. He can if he wishes to bother answering your questions give you more up to date info. But we all already know that next thing you would do is ask "how about 5.18" + in all other threads you keep replying to you would still continue writing that there is no jailbreak and "No idea if it will be possible." Your MO is well know to people who have been here long enough. I should probably have my head examined for still wasting my time replying to your posts... There is a long history of mobileread users getting mislead by his various types of BS and outright untruths across a large number of forums. Sometimes it happens with not so new members that hadn't noticed his MO or even user name.

He actually has made useful comments beyond the Charis SIL/ChareInk - I do remember several times he has helped me personally or another member with Kobo, css and calibre issues. Probably not in the Kindle forum here, though.

@Siertel Those are the exceptions to the rule and to his MO.
