The Poke 5 doesn't have that either.
But:
- The Poke 5 is smaller and lighter (more portable).
- Screen handling is far better.
- I don't have the M6, but Boox devices can handle power better than Likebook/Meebook.
Since Boox can handle SD cards, I prefer these devices to the Likebook/Meebooks

@Sonnenfee I did find your photograph useful. I also always read with the warm light on (to a greater or lesser extent) and pictures without light don't tell me anything at all. In fact I had already seen some (negative) comments similar to yours on a Chinese forum and on a YouTube video. Of course, each user has their own preferences in terms of lighting. Mine is pretty much the same as yours. Personally I have always preferred comments that are based on first hand experience even if I don't always agree with them.

Thank you for your positive answer to the pictures, cellaris, to find them useful and helpful. Pictures without light on at a reading device telling me nothing at all too.

That’s what I like also, first hands experience. Personally to this I prefer comments and reports from users which are objective, but to get those it’s difficult. Got new Poke 5 and it looks and works great except I can't get it to recognize the SD card! Anyone else having this problem and can let me know a solution?

Do you have ADB working?
Do (with a SD card inserted):

C:\>adb shell
$ ls -l /dev/block

Did anybody get a cover? Could you confirm please if the cover sleeps/wakes up the Poke5?
