Question Coolreader und fbreader180 für PB 903
Allen erst einmal eine frohe Weihnacht 2011 !

Da ich seit einer Weile nur noch sporadisch hier im Forum nach frischer Software für mein PB 903 Ausschau halte, habe ich keinerlei Überblick über den aktuellen Stand zu fbreader180 und dem von mir noch ungetesteten Coolreader.

Ich nutze fbreader180 nun schon seit einigen Monaten und habe bis auf den " Seitenzahlbug" nichts daran auszusetzen.

Nun die eigentlichen Fragen :
fbreader180
Wird der fbreader180 noch gepflegt und wenn ja wo finde ich die aktuellen Versionen (meine genutzte ist """graynm76-fbreader180-app-0.11.3-fw2.x.x""") und im Original (DE) Thread finde ich nichts neues.

Coolreader:

Immer wieder lese ich hier im Forum über den Coolreader aber bisher nichts detailliertes.
Hat der Coolreader ebenfalls die Umblätterfunktion mittels G-Sensor?

Das Allerwichtigste wo kann ich eine für mein PB passende Version finden?

Die Version hab ich auch noch, habe auch ewig nix neues mehr von GrayNM gelesen oder gehört. Funzt aber auch mit der neuen Version noch, nur Schüttelblättern hab ich nicht probiert, die FW ist manchmal etwas seltsam wenn man mitten im Buch den Reader wechseln will, das braucht schonmal zwei, drei Anläufe

Ist m. E. die ausgereifteste Reader Software, im Gegensatz zum fbreader erkennt er auch eingebettete Styles und Bilder, kann individuell konfiguriert werden aber auch die Hersteller CSS verwenden, die neue Version bietet sogar die Möglichkeit den Kontrast einzustellen und den Wrist-turn (noch nicht erprobt).

Hi und schöne Feiertage auch,

hier würde ich mich gern einklinken mit meinen ungelösten reader-Problemen. Hab ein PB903 und FW 2.1.2 drauf.

primero: ich hab schon diverse Versuche hinter mir, den fbreader180 (graynm76-fbreader180-app-0.11.3-fw2.x.x) zu installieren, auch unter FW 2.0.6. Der reader verschluckt pro Seite immer ein paar Worte oder Zeilen, die nicht angezeigt werden. Was mach ich denn da verkehrt, wenn der bei anderen gut läuft?

segundo: Ich hab jetzt mal auf die Anregung von troll05 den coolreader von obigem link draufgetan, aber der wird bei mir überhaupt nicht angezeigt, wenn ich ein epub aufmachen will.

Für jeden hint dankbar....

Der FBREADER180 hat ab 2.06 ein Problem das sich wie folgt äussert:
Einstellung Anzahl der Seiten:
Beim umblättern werden Seiten unterschlagen bzw. es wird sogar bis zum nächsten Kapitel gesprungen.

Abhilfe:
Den FBREADER180 umstellen auf prozentuale Anzeige (hat auch den Vorteil das der Reader nicht immer wieder die Anzahl der Seiten neu berechnen muss).

Coolreader:

Hab mir über die Feiertage mal die Mühe gemacht, die Sachen zum Coolreader
zusammenzustellen (englisch sprachig). Besonders auch die übersetzten Quickmenus sind ganz interessant an deren Übersetzung schon viele mitgewirkt haben:

902 fw 2.1.2: fbreader installation fehlgeschlagen
bei mir gab es keine system/config und auch keine system/share
nichtsdestotrotz habe ich sie angelegt und die dateien reinkopiert (extension2.cfg in extension.cfg umbenannt), außerdem die .app ins bin verzeichnis kopiert - 902 neugestartet ... leider kein fbreader im auswahlmenu (nur adobe und pdfviewer)...
was habe ich übersehen oder flasch gemacht?

Könnte eventuell mit der falschen adressierung von Speicherkarte und Gerät zusammenhängen, guck mal im englischen Teil, da hab ich nen Link zur aktuellsten FW gepostet

@troll05: mit aktuellster FW meintest du sw_20111215_902_CIS_2.1.2_user (einen Link zur 2.2.X habe ich nirgends gefunden ?
Leider keine Änderung - dieses doppelte vertikale Scrollen macht pdfviewer unbrauchbar (er scrollt, baut den Bildschirm auf und scrollt dann gleich nochmal ... zum Überfliegen evtl. brauchbar).

kann das sein, daß du von pdfs redest? Der fbreader liest keine pdfs und erscheint entsprechend nicht im Auswahl-Menü, wenn du ein pdf öffnen willst...

Die ist noch im Alphastadium und kann getestet werden mit einer Mail an Pocketbook und Bitte um Teilnahme am Testprogramm. Siehe Posts von Forkosigan im FW Thread.

Was deine configs angeht, ohne das du die hier mal vielleicht ausszugsweise postest, ist eine Fehleranalyse sehr schwierig bis unmöglich
