abbreviations for some search operators? (e.g. title --> t; author --> a)

I find that using search operators like title or author or tags makes the search not just faster, but also more accurate.

But i don't want to spend time typing the 5 letters in the word title if I can just type t

so instead of, for example

Code:

title:gilead

I want to type

Quote:

t:gilead

How can we make this happen?

Sept 9 2020 update: How can I make this happen in the Device view as well?

I tried this and it works for me when I use a for authors, but title is not in the dropdown for value. Any ideas?

Manually type it into the box.

Folks, I've just learned that my "t:" and "a:" search operators don't work when searching the device's library.
How can I make it work there as well?
