Dang, looks like the videos have been taken down. Does anyone know if the screen is flat with the bezel like the kindle voyage? And the price?

What a disappointment. I might order an Aura ONE Limited Edition now, and give my Glo HD to my wife - she's still reading on the original Glo.
I was really hoping for something other than a too-large same-old same-old device, but there sure won't be any reason to buy this unless the Glo HD breaks... BOR-ing! |

It was not completely flat with the bezel, but it didn't have that black, glossy internal "frame" anymore (the one the Glo HD has and many people complained about because of reflections). So, like the Paperwhite. The bezels also looked closer to the screen than the Glo HD.

But, it did prompt me to give her the Aura ONE to try. That had been the intention when I bought it as she was still using Glo. I was going to try it for a month or so, then give it to her to try. I was expecting not to like it because of the size as I hadn't liked the Aura H2O. But, I found it a very good size and just kept using it. Now she loves it as well, and gives me suspicious looks if I pick it up. |

Noone is going to sell an upgraded KOBO at Walmart. If anything it will be very basic to be cheap and attract bargain shoppers

Oh, it'll be just a 6" reader? I would have bought a new 8" model, but I am perfectly happy with my 6" Glo that I use exclusively for fiction, and the larger PocketBook is for non-fiction. I'd like a second large reader, also for non-fiction. I enjoy the PocketBook, but don't want to buy duplicates.
Maybe I should get the Aura ONE, but the limited edition wasn't offered here, and the idea of paying full price (plus €50 for the sleep cover) for an almost two-year old device with only 8 GB and no SD card slot isn't instantly appealing. 8 GB would probably suffice, but I like the option of expanding the storage space, whether or not I'll actually make use of it. A 32 GB MicroSD card only costs around €12. Is there a chance for another Kobo device with a large screen this year? I don't really follow e-reader release schedules closely. Well this is underwhelming but understandable I guess. Kobo needs an inexpensive 6" reader comparable to the Paperwhite that can sell at Walmart. I was hoping the Clara might be a new and improved Mini or something innovative.
Lack of physical page turn buttons means I'll probably be looking at other 6"+ readers. Now I'm glad I bought the $37 refurb Mini off eBay yesterday because I don't see another 5" reader on the horizon anytime soon. |

Seems a Glo HD with 8GB and "custom temp. light". And also it seems that will be avaliable at an online shop (129€) from June 5th (in Italy). Last edited by issybird; 05-14-2018 at 08:04 AM. Reason: Oversize images thumbnailed |

So it looks like the major new feature would be the comfortlight. Not sure if this is enough reason for me to upgrade my Glo HD. Especially since my experience with colour temperature with Aura ONE has been a little disappointing.
