New Freebie from Tor
Tor are giving away another free novel -- Spaceman Blues by Brian Francis Slattery. http://www.tor.com/index.php?option=...w=blog&id=7457
It's apparently *not* the first of a series, but a stand-alone novel, and is apparently "a literary retro-pulp science-fiction-mystery-superhero novel", which sounds rather fun! If only my iLiad weren't away being repaired, I'd start reading immediately. |

cool
Thanks for the tip on this one, downloaded last night.
One question though: Are they doing website-only freebies now? I don't remember seeing this one come through in email (although I could have just missed it...) |

Yes, it's website only now. The freebies by email were promotions for the website (obviously they didn't work too well! ), which seems to be giving away one novel a month, plus short stories weekly. It's actually worth a look if you're into SF & fantasy, there are some very good articles and discussions, and surprisingly little promotion of their own books.
