This was a very interesting post. It's interesting that liberals and conservatives need each other. Without conservatives society's order could disintegrate and without liberals society could never adapt to new challenges.

Yes, atheism is as much a leap of faith as is belief in god or gods. I figure if God exists, He or She or It will send me an unambiguous message. Until then, I don't think less of those who believe or of those who don't.

No, he's not an atheist. And what he said was that he took the initiative in creating the internet, not that he himself invented it. And he did help get funding for Arpnet, which eventually became the internet, among other things. So, in that sense, he did help in creating the internet. But our "liberal" media just love to take stupid bullet points and run with them regardless if their true or not.
