New to ebooks
Which should I buy? I am a 77 yr. old lifelong education advocate readinf at least 3-5 hrs. per day, mostly classics. Also interested in sports, politics, economics philosophy, etc. I use Teaching co. DVD;s and tapes almost every day. I'm stuck between Kindle and Nook.

Hello dhackbert and welcome to MR.
Check out the forum 'which one should I buy' which also has a comparison matrix in the wiki. That should give you a good idea. To find more info specifically about the Nook & Kindle check out the relevant subforums. And don't be afraid to ask any questions - lots of helpful people around here For a whole heaps of free ebooks, check out the eBook library from MR. Sooooo many free books, lovingly formatted by MR members. That'll keep you reading for a while. |

Good to have your company Dhackbert. If, like I have, you find your eyes don't get any stronger as the years roll on, you'll find an ereader a real bonus. The facility to increase font-size of text has made the world of difference to me. Cheers. Neil
