PW3 Any Kindlet development library?

Now that new firmware drop azw2 support, i really wanted to play KindleChineseChess on my kindle, but its in azw2 format, so grabbed the source and tried to compile.

But com.amazon.kindle.kindlet class seems to be missing from the project and a simple google search suggest it's from Amazon Kindle Development Kit, but it requires setup and applying the amazon sdk program.

So is there any other kindlet library available?

Did you try our master index section "Kindlet" ?

Even when you find that AND build your program, how are you going to get it to run if the firmware does not support active content?

I.E: There is a reason a booklet version of KUAL exists for those device/firmware combinations that do not support active content.

Yeah didn't ask about setups after compilation because i thought would be too much topic asked in the same post.

It seems that in 5.9.6.1 amazon has removed /opt/amazon/ebook/lib/Kindlet-1.1.jar
is there a workaround, or a copy available ??

You really don't need that, since the Master Index is in the six item sticky section at the top of the first index page.


In fact, your doing people a dis-service, giving them directions which by-pass the master index without a single clue that such a page exists.
Leaving the puzzled even more clueless.


This site has the top level organization that it does for a purpose, don't try to defeat it.
