Kindle for iOS 5.9 released. It adds:

ComiXology's Guided View
Send to Kindle via Safari's Share button.

A pretty low key update... but I do love the further integration via the "Share/Do everything" button on iOS.

Send to Kindle is available for any app that offers iOS Sharing, not just Safari. Not sure why the release notes are so specific.

In addition to Guided View mode, there's also a Scrolling (in Landscape) mode for comics format. And it seems not all comics support this feature right now: some still come up with Panel View only and no GV/Scrolling options.

I will probably still prefer to use the Comixology app. For one thing, the background is black rather than white, which I think looks a lot better. And the library view is more conducive to comics.
