Link is right, price is wrong sort of. regular price should be $299.99 and then take $70 off that.

Do CompUSA have a way to tell you what the shipping will be before you order? I got right through to entering credit card details and a "submit order" button with nary a hint.

Amazon.com does charge taxes - CompUSA don't and mostly shipping is free or $2.99.
I bought a lot of things from them latley ps - CompUSA closed their shops in New York City last summer - they just have shops in the south. take care harry |

CompUSA was bought out by TigerDirect. Almost all the stores were liquidated except for a handful. We have one left in El Paso, TX.
CompUSA, like it TigerDirect, sells a lot of refurbished/recertified stuff. Sometimes they are not as clear as they should be on what is new and what is refurbished/recertified. Fry's Electronics also sells a lot of R/C stuff in their brick and mortar stores but I've always had clear indication of new or not. Sam's Club has the silver PRS-505 for $269 but did not have local stock on hand. Of course any local purchase will need to have sales tax added - 8.25% in El Paso. Both Fry's and CompUSA also charge state or city sales tax on online purchases since they have B&M stores in Texas. Last edited by donslade; 02-26-2009 at 11:16 AM. |
