Series

Is there a way to search for breaks in series? Something that would return the author or preferably the series if I have, say book 1 and 3 in a series.

Highlight the book you are interested in.

Type Alt Shift D to show the Book Details.

Click on the series name in the book details and it will give a list of all the books in the series.

Select each book to see their details.

Maybe even simpler:
Set the cursor on the seris name in the grid: tap 'Q" (Quickview)
you can click any column head in the view to sort

Doesn't the 'Quality Check' calibre plugin have an option to look for gaps in a series?

Check Metadata => Check Series Gaps.

I use it when I move books from Intake to Main since the download series data is often a bit iffy.
