Recently, only M92 from ArtaTech distribution channel have cloud. But you cannot use any firmware, but only ArtaTech firmware...

General M92 should receive configurable cloud capability soon...

Concerning annotation system in M92.
Annotations and scribles are stored in database, not in pdf. It is possible to create pdf that includes scribles or annotations in M92. I am not sure if both together are possible...

I am not fully sure, but it seems me that notes created on PC are not visible in M92.

Generally it might be possible to implement automatic "flattening" prior to syncing. But some kind of "flattening" has to be done for sure in M92.

Thanks for the response, Mono!

Are all annotations stored on a separate layer, or does it handle highlights and scribbles differently? That is, after you highlight a document, can you pull the sd card and open it from a computer with highlights intact? I wouldn't mind having to merge and export scribbles if highlights are stored directly on the document.

I do not know exactly about annotations and highlights, I do not use them. I use only scribles.

All three are stored in SQL database, not in pdf. It is possible to create a new pdf which includes scribles or annotations & highlights. Maybe even all three. So, before you may use scribles/annotations/highlights outside M92, you must create a new pdf which incorporates them.

Scribles are visible in different pdf readers on PC, but are not printed. To be able to print them you have to flatten the pdf. (Maybe that some pdf reader is able to print scribles without flattening, but I am not aware of any - for Win)

Thanks, Mono! These details are really helpful. I'm in the US, so it's unfortunately not really an option for me to find a place to check out the M92 in person.
