Just got a Kobo Sage. Have 2-3 questions.

Well, I connect maybe once or twice a month, as I usually load a bunch of books at once. That's certainly not often enough for regular charging.

I also have the full page refresh enabled for every page; I expect this drains the battery more quickly than partial refresh.

Wow, under an hour to charge is pretty fast. It would probably take my Libra twice as long to do a full charge from a 10W charger.

I bought it from Walmart because they have a free return policy. Glad I did. It came from a third party, Blue Proton, which I have heard may charge a restocking fee. Makes me wonder if they are trying to sell returned items as new hoping new customers will accept e-readers others have judged unacceptable.

I believe you are correct. Nothing was refurbished. My device must have been a return.
