This is yet another big name that is now gone.
2013 doesn't seem to be a good year for many popular writers...... He was a great fantasist...a great writer of the imagination. Don |

He was just phenomenal. I'm amazed at the number of friends I have who don't know his name, but instantly recognize his work.

Oh No! Sad news!
Please read something from him in remembrance. I'd suggest his first published story - Born of Man and Woman: http://www.inspirationbit.com/a-bit-...man-and-woman/ Last edited by kennyc; 06-25-2013 at 07:23 AM. |

I really enjoyed I am Legend when I read it last year. I will have to look at some of his other works when I finish this year's challenge list.

I've only read I am Legend, but he also wrote many TV and movie screenplays.
He wrote the Star Trek TOS episode "The Enemy Within," for instance. RIP sir. A life well lived. |

He was also responsible for quite a few Twilight Zone episodes, including the classic "Nightmare at 20,000 Feet."
