I do not see anything related to KPVBooklet on my Kindle.

Content of extensions directory is:

F:\extensions\helper
F:\extensions\koreader
F:\extensions\MRInstaller
F:\extensions\KUAL.cfg

Look at the link above. Zip package contains uninstall.bin. Install it via mrpi.

Thanks hius07 !

Copying update_kpvbooklet_0.6.6_uninstall.bin

into

/mrpackages/

and invoking "Install MR Packages" from KUAL makes the trick.

Since a Low Battery Alarm was added in the last build is it possible to also add an option to notify when battery reaches 80% or so for prolonging the battery longevity? Kindle takes so long to charge that I almost always forget to unplug it and it reaches 100%. Maybe the screensaver could be changed to signify that the battery has reached the desired charge level.

Once the screensaver is shown, it cannot be changed (otherwise the device is not sleeping).

High battery level threshold migth be added to Device status alerts (for sure, the alert will not be shown over the screensaver).

Oh. I didn't know that. I hope it gets added in a future update. I guess it won't be possible to change the LED colour to green at any percentage other than the default one?

You can try it.
Replace koreader\frontend\apps\reader\modules\readerdevice status.lua with the attached one.
Attached Files
File Type: zip readerdevicestatus.zip (2.3 KB, 151 views)

Okay.
As you asked, you can try checking battery level even during screensaver (suspend).
Comment (put -- (two minus signs) in the beginning of the line) lines 317 and 322.
Unless your device blocks any program activities while sleeping.

If it works as expected and doesn't cause extra battery drain, we can discuss adding an option, sort of "Ignore suspend" (off by default, for sure).

Alert message is shown over the screensaver, but it is not clickable until device is unlocked.

It works. Thanks again. Need to check if idle drain is any worse or not.
P.S. There's no way to limit the max battery charge level in Kindles then? In my rooted Android devices I can either make use of a charging control file or just limit the max. charging voltage (voltage_max).
Edit: While idle drain wasn't affected at all, active drain was noticeably higher. Up from 0.9%/h to nearly 1.5%/h.
