Calibre silent installation and configuration

Hi all,
trying to silently install and configure calibre.

- Silent installation is easy thanks to the MSI
- configuration to the json files under C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming to make it look/feel as desired is doable

Two things im having trouble with
- Is there a way to change to the default directory for configuration from <user profile>\appdata\roaming... i would like it to be machine rather than user-based. I haven't been able to find anything in the registry or MSI tables. Is this perhaps hard-coded ?
- Based on the above - preventing the first run wizard for running. This seems to check for the existence of C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming - so i believe this is linked with the first question... but if someone else knows better - please let me know.

as for the welcome wizard, it looks for a key ina config file called welcome_wizard_was_run

Ok - cool, thanks a lot of that.

I didn't even consider environment variables - as its a unusual method to provide silent install config... but in this instance- makes sense.

Will give it a crack.

I'm not able to assign TARGETDIR during install. Any help with this?
