Installing calibre on a server
I need the program ebook-convert on my debian server for a few shell scripts that send books to my kindle automatically. I have tried following the instructions on the calibre website, but the installation showed a few error messages, and so does ebook-convert. I suspect that it may have to do with me not having an xserver on the debian, and I do not want to install one for performance reasons. Is there any way to install calibre without a GUI or launch ebook-convert directly from the source without calling any GUI libraries?
